Robert “Bob” Landis

February 19, 1943 - May 23, 2021

Bob left us suddenly on Sunday, May 23rd, 2021 to be with Jesus his Lord and Saviour at the age of 78, at his beloved farm in Hunta. He was the son of the late Eli and the late Mary Landis (nee Rohrer). He leaves behind his loving wife Esther Landis (nee Frederick), his beloved children Dennis Landis (Barb), Donna Landis (Todd), Dawn  Landis (Matthew), Devin Landis (Leigh), his grandchildren Eric (Courtney), Quinn, Dawson, Jessica (Chad), Rayna, Aleisha, his great grandchildren Mackenzie, Elliot, Hailey, Marley and another baby on the way. Survived also by his brothers Jim Landis (Kay) and Larry Landis (Judy).  He will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, and his faithful companion, Echo.

Bob enjoyed farming, spending many days working with animals and the soil. He was an avid hunter, having multiple successful trips. Bob was an active member of the Hunta Mennonite Church and part of several local agriculture organizations.

He was a quiet leader with integrity, and a shining light, touching the lives of everyone around him.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions an intimate family gathering will take place followed by a funeral service at the Hunta Menonite Church on Friday May 28th, 2021 at 2 pm. The Funeral Service will be live streamed. (Use the link below to join the event). He will be laid to rest at the Greenwood Cemetery in North Frederickhouse.
