C’est avec grande tristesse que la famille vous annonce le décès de Rolande survenu le mercredi 3 septembre 2025 au manoir Villa Minto de Cochrane à l’âge de 78 ans. Elle laisse dans le deuil son fils Mario (Jennifer) Vachon, ses petits-enfants Marc, Rémi et ses filleules Rhonda Vachon et Sophie Gagnon.

Elle était la sœur de Michel, Angéline et Jeannette. Elle sera manquée par plusieurs nièces, neveux, autres parentés et amis.

Rolande est allée rejoindre ses parents Émile et Eugenie (née Gendron) Roussy et ses frères et ses sœurs Jean-Paul, Lionel, René, Bertrand, Benoit, Denise, Emilien, Camille, Marie-Marthe, Huguette, Fernand et Lucille.

La famille accueillera parents et amis à la maison funéraire Génier Gauthier, 70 Seventh Ave. South de Cochrane, le mardi 9 septembre 2025 de 9h30 à 10h45. Les funérailles auront lieu à 11h à l’église de la Transfiguration, 316 Seventh Ave. North de Cochrane. L’inhumation suivra au cimetière catholique de Cochrane

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rolande announces her passing on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at the Villa Minto nursing home of Cochrane at the age of 78. She leaves behind her son Mario (Jennifer) Vachon, her grandsons Marc, Rémi and her god-daughters Rhonda Vachon and Sophie Gagnon.

Rolande was the sister of Michel, Angéline and Jeannette. She will be missed by several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Emile and Eugenie (nee Gendron) Roussy and her siblings Jean-Paul, Lionel, René, Bertrand, Benoit, Denise, Emilien, Camille, Marie-Marthe, Huguette, Fernand and Lucille.

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the Genier Gauthier funeral home, 70 Seventh Ave. South of Cochrane.

The funeral mass will be held at 11 am at the Transfiguration church, 316 Seventh Ave. North of Cochrane followed by her inurnment at the Cochrane R.C. cemetery.
