Entourée de l’amour de sa famille, Rollande est décédée le jeudi 3 octobre 2024 à l’hôpital de Timmins et du District, à l’âge de 85 ans.

Elle était la fille de feu Émile Mercier, feu Onésime Couillard et de feu Alfreda Couillard Mercier.

Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Viateur Dubé, ses fils Daniel (Ginette) Dubé et Sylvain (Sandra) Dubé, ses petits-enfants Ryan (Laura), Stéfanie (Honza), Kyle (Samantha), Tishaunna (Marc) et Tianna (Jean-Marc), ses arrière-petits-enfants Emery et Macklan. Elle était la sœur de feu Jean-Guy Mercier (Danielle), Lise (feu Gilles) Boucher, Brigitte (André) Bernatchez, Thérèse (feu Oliva) Lizotte et Alain (France) Couillard. Elle laisse également plusieurs neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.

La famille tient à remercier le personnel de l’hôpital General Anson d’Iroquois Falls et de l’hôpital de Timmins et du District pour les bons soins prodigués.

Une cérémonie aura lieu au Columbarium du cimetière Abitibi au printemps 2025.

Surrounded by her loved ones, Rollande passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at the Timmins and District Hospital, at the age of 85.

She was the daughter of the late Émile Mercier, the late Onésime Couillard and the late Alfreda Mercier Couillard.

She is survived by her husband Viateur Dubé, her sons Daniel (Ginette) Dubé and Sylvain (Sandra) Dubé, her grandchildren Ryan (Laura), Stéfanie (Honza), Kyle (Samantha), Tishaunna (Marc) and Tianna (Jean-Marc), her great-grandchildren Emery and Macklan. She was the sister of the late Jean-Guy Mercier (Danielle), Lise (late Gilles) Boucher, Brigitte (André) Bernatchez, Thérèse (late Oliva) Lizotte and Alain (France) Couillard. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls and the Timmins and District Hospital for the excellent care provided.

A ceremony will be held at the Columbarium of the Abitibi Cemetery in the spring of 2025.
