It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Mrs. Shirley Bailey on Wednesday October 15, 2025, at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 89. She leaves behind her children Rhonda Bailey, Jack (Teri) Bailey, Terri Sakach, Lynn Bailey (Brian), her grandchildren Sara (Scott) Tracy, Ashton (Gilles) Gauthier, Christopher (Amber) Laurin, Ali Belisle, Nicholas (Angele) Sakach, Caitlin (Malik) Laurin and 10 great-grandchildren.

Shirley will be also missed by her sister Clara Abramson, numerous friends and other family members.

She was predeceased by her husband Alvin R. Bailey and her parents William and Edith F. (nee Nichols) Delaurier.

In respecting Shirley’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
