It is with great sadness that the family of Simone announces her passing at the Timmins & District Hospital on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at the age of 89 with her husband Michael by her side.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Michael Georgeoff, her son Michael Wilson, her daughter Susan Girard (Daniel), her son Jim Wilson (Diane), her son Dean Wilson (Chantal), her stepson Derek Georgeoff, her stepdaughter Karen Georgeoff (Rob Morgan), her 9 grandchildren Darryl Wilson (Erin McGuire), Ryan Wilson (Carrie-Lynn), Joey Wilson (Andrea), Jeremy Girard (Penny), Jody Girard Rantala (Mark), Tiffanie Cormier (Steve), Veronyk Zinn (Andrew), Sylvain Loranger (Annina Wang), Cynthia Georgeoff and her great-grandchildren Allison and Nicholas Wilson, Hayden and Bryce Wilson, Jayme-Lee and Xavier Wilson, Teralyn, Jaxson and Zoey Girard, Dakota and Jake Day-Webber, Oliver and Mikko Rantala, Natasha and Ashley Cormier, Karolyn and Adelyn Zinn.
She also leaves behind her sister in-laws, many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Ephrem Bellerive and Aurore Beauchamp and all her brothers and sisters.
Relatives and friends are welcomed at Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave South, Cochrane, on Saturday January 27th, 2024 from 9:30am to 11:30am followed by the memorial service at the funeral home chapel.
The interment will take place at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
