With heavy hearts her family announces the passing of their beloved mother Sonja Linklater on Sunday March 1st, 2020 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 77. She was the wife of the late Herb Linklater. She will be deeply missed by her daughters Laura (Rafael) Natera, Sharon Plourde, Jamie (Randy) Gravel and Cheryl Linklater, grandchildren Bryan, Shawn (Vanessa), Michael, Chelsey (Shane), Alex, Amira and Kadin, greatgrandchildren Lucas, Kylar and Logan, sister-in-law Pat Dorff and nephew Allan Dorff, she also leaves behind many other relatives and friends. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter Kari, mother Maryann Dorff (nee Black), father John Sr. Dorff and her siblings Laura Creelman and John Jr. Dorff.

Visitations will be held on Thursday March 5th, 2020 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at Irvine & Irvine funeral home, 149 Third street West, Cochrane. The funeral service will be held from the Irvine & Irvine funeral home chapel on Friday March 6th, 2020 at 11 am. The interment will take place in the spring at the Cochrane Civic Cemetery
