Mr. Thomas Hugh Boyd
March 12, 1936 – June 24, 2026

It is with heavy hearts, the family of Thomas announces his passing on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital, at the age of 90.  Loving father of Stephanie and Chad.

Thomas was the brother of Frances Coulter. He will also be missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his wife Margaret ‘’Maggie’’ Boyd (nee Therriault), his parents Clarence William and Lena Frances Boyd (Nee Grant) and his sister Flora Spencer and his brother Robert Boyd.

His career was in Hospital Administration and he was the Hospital administrator for the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital from 1989 until his retirement. Tom was a veteran who served in the Navy when he was younger and volunteered with the lion’s club and the legion for many years.

A Celebration of Life for both Thomas & Maggie will be held at the Legion of Smooth Rock Falls on September 12th.

Thomas will be laid to rest at the Whitney cemetery in Timmins.
