Mrs. Thérèse Maisonneuve (nee Thomas)

March 19, 1933 -September 10, 2025

Thérèse passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 10th, 2025 at the age of 92 at the South Centennial Manor in Iroquois Falls. She was the daughter of the late Ludger Thomas and late Noëlla Thomas (nee Maxwell). She is also now reunited with her husband Roland Maisonneuve who predeceased her August 14th, 2001 and her daughter Lorraine Guy who predeceased on September 14th, 2022. She will be deeply missed by her children Rita Timm (Bruce McCann), Denise (Raphael) Camden, Yvon Maisonneuve, Gérald Maisonneuve, Julie Bergovich, Daniel Maisonneuve, Lucie (Don) Emans and Claude Maisonneuve (Tara Croke), son-in-law Martial Guy, grandchildren Patricia Guy, Cassie Timm, Carrie Timm (Jamie Dufour), Ashley Camden (Michelle MacMillan), Mindy (Haritos) Aroutzidis, Erica Camden (Alex Fontana), Vanessa Maisonneuve, Amanda Maisonneuve, Miranda Godber, Deanna Godber, Cole Emans (Abigail Fricker), Kira Emans and Morgan Maisonneuve, great grandchildren Macey, Avery, Georgia, Autumn, Nathan, Kaylynn, Lydia, Damion, Skye and Samara. She was the sister of late Michel Thomas, Bernard (Madeleine) Thomas, André (late Reina) Thomas, Martial (Yvonne) Thomas, late Camille (Roberte) Thomas, Robert (Kathy) Thomas, Ida (Brian) O’Donnell and Mariette (Paul) Shuster. She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Relatives & friends are welcome to pay their respects on Wednesday September 17th, 2025 from 10 am at the Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Avenue, Iroquois Falls. The Funeral Mass will follow at Sts-Martyrs Roman Catholic Church at 12:30 pm with the interment following at the Abitibi Cemetery and Reception at the Parish Hall.

Thérèse est décédée paisiblement le mercredi 10 septembre 2025 à l’âge de 92 ans au Manoir South Centennial d’Iroquois Falls. Elle était la fille de feu Ludger Thomas et feu Noëlla Thomas (née Maxwell). Elle est allée rejoindre son mari Roland Maisonneuve décédé le 14  août 2001 et sa fille Lorraine Guy décédée le 14 septembre 2022. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Rita Timm (Bruce McCann), Denise (Raphael) Camden, Yvon Maisonneuve, Gérald Maisonneuve, Julie Bergovich, Daniel Maisonneuve, Lucie (Don) Emans et Claude Maisonneuve (Tara Croke), son beau-fils Martial Guy, ses petits-enfants Patricia Guy, Cassie Timm, Carrie Timm (Jamie Dufour), Ashley Camden (Michelle MacMillan), Mindy (Haritos) Aroutzidis, Erica Camden ( Alex Fontana), Vanessa Maisonneuve, Amanda Maisonneuve, Miranda Godber, Deanna Godber, Cole Emans (Abigail Fricker), Kira Emans  et Morgan Maisonneuve, ses arrière-petits-enfants Macey, Avery, Georgia, Autumn, Nathan, Kaylynn, Lydia, Damion, Skye et Samara. Elle était la sœur de feu Michel Thomas, Bernard (Madeleine) Thomas, André (feu Reina) Thomas, Martial (Yvonne) Thomas, feu Camille (Roberte) Thomas, Robert (Kathy) Thomas, Ida (Brian) O’Donnell et Mariette (Paul) Shuster.

La famille accueillera parents et amis au Salon funéraire Irvine & Irvine le mercredi 17 septembre 2025 à compter de 10 h. Les funérailles suivront à 12h30 à l'église Sts-Martyrs-Canadiens d’Iroquois Falls. L’inhumation suivra au cimetière Abitibi et une réception à la Salle de l’Église.
