It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Todd Scott, a beautiful soul who brought joy, laughter, and love to all who knew him. Todd passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 60, surrounded by his beloved family, leaving behind a legacy of happiness and generosity that will be cherished forever.

Todd’s radiant smile and happiness was contagious, and he took immense pleasure in spreading kindness wherever he went. Whether it was helping a neighbour, sharing stories with friends, or getting to know strangers in line at Tim Horton’s or Canadian Tire, Todd's heart was always open, and his generosity knew no bounds.

Family was the center of Todd's world. He was a devoted spouse, a loving parent, and a doting grandparent whose grandchildren absolutely adored their grandpa. Todd cherished every moment with them, whether he was patiently teaching them about the tools and equipment in his garage or packing his side-by-side full of excited grandkids for countless trips up and down the hill to the beach. Those joyful rides, filled with laughter and adventure, created memories that will be treasured forever.

Todd is survived by his loving spouse, Cathy Shier; his children, Erin-Jean Scott (Brodie), Julie Scopazzi (Danny), and Louise Belisle (Mathew); his grandchildren, Keira, Kaylee, Kianna, Kashtyn, Anthony, Lucas, Leah, Liam, Avery, and Emma. Todd is also survived by his brothers, Danny (Annie), Tim (Audrey), and Craig, his mother-in-law, Elaine Shier, brother-in-law, Wayne Shier (Tina), and sister-in-law, Joanne Mayer (Luc), and many dear friends and family members who will miss him deeply. He is predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Jean Scott (nee Collins).

His spirit lives on in the countless memories shared and the lives he touched.

A visitation from 11:30 am to 1 pm followed by a service will be held on Friday December 13, 2024 at Irvine and Irvine Funeral Home, 70 Seventh Ave. South in Cochrane.

As we say goodbye to Todd, let us remember the joy he brought into our lives, the love he freely gave, and the happiness he found in life's simple treasures. He may be gone, but his light will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Rest in peace, Todd. You will be missed beyond words and remembered with boundless love.
