The family announces with great sadness the passing of Tracy in Moosonee on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at the age of 32.
She will be greatly missed by her father Adrien Matatawabin, her grandparents John B, Tookate and Elsie Tookata (Mattinas), her children Ayden, Keaden, Keenan, Tia, Jerome, Candace, Brandon and Amber, her siblings Samantha Tookata, Jason Tookata and Kayla Tookata.

Tracy will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, nephews Colton and Zeke, extended family, and many friends.  

Predeceased by her mother Annemarie Tookata and her brother Adrien Jr. Tookata.

The family service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 starting at 6 pm to 7pm at the Weeneebayko General Hospital Chapel.

The public viewing will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 from 11 am to 12 noon, followed by the family viewing 12 noon to 1pm.

The funeral will start at 1pm and followed by the burial at the Moosonee Cemetery.
