Mr. Victor Fortier

February 12, 1937 – August 26, 2024

With great sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of Vic surrounded by his loving family at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois falls on Monday August 26th, 2024 at the age of 87. He was the son of the late Philipe Fortier and late Bertha Fortier (nee Lalonde). He was also predeceased by his daughter Christine Fortier and granddaughter Jessica Fortier. He will be deeply missed by his Beloved wife Rachelle Fortier (nee Labrèche), children Nicole (Jeremy) Lukianovitch and Pierre Fortier, granddaughter Taylor Lukianovitch, siblings Louis (late Sonya) Fortier, Denis (Josette) Fortier, Robert (Hélène) Fortier, Paulette (Ron) Sharp and Colette (Rob) Grant. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Irvine & Irvine Funeral Home, 641 deTroyes Ave, Iroquois Falls on Thursday, August 29th, 2024 from 9 am until 10:30 am. The funeral mass will follow at 11 am at Sts-Martyrs-Canadien Church. Vic will be laid to rest in the Abitibi Cemetery Columbarium and a reception will follow at the Sts-Martyrs-Canadien Church Hall.
