Mr. Wayne Austin DeForest

April 26, 1952 – April 24, 2026

Wayne passed away surrounded by his loved ones at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Friday April 24th, 2026 at the age of 73. Born in Iroquois Falls on April 26th, 1952, to the late Walter DeForest and late Velma DeForest (nee Austin). Wayne remained in his hometown for his entire life and  before retirement he was a Millwright for the Abitibi Pulp & Paper Mill in Iroquois Falls. He will be deeply missed by his children Paul DeForest and Michael Peever, 1 grandchildren Jayme, his siblings Joanne Parcher (Vern McLaughlin), Bruce DeForest and Richard (Sherry) DeForest. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Cremation will take place and no services will be held. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association and would be greatly appreciated.
