Wendy Anna Weeks (nee May)
November 22, 1951 – September 28, 2024
The family of Wendy Weeks are sad to announce her passing, in her 73rd year, on Saturday September 28th, 2024, at the Blanche River Hospital in Kirkland Lake. She leaves behind her sons Ryan (Lindsay) Weeks of Sault Ste. Marie, and Brad (Stephanie) Weeks of Kirkland Lake, and grandchildren Ross, Emilee, Claudia and Kaliandra. Wendy was born in Kirkland Lake, and although she was away for a lot of years, her heart was always in Larder Lake, where she eventually returned to, and lived until her passing. Wendy was loved by 12 brothers and sisters, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Jim (Verna) May, and Anita (Ben) Szack.
To honour her wishes, there will be no funeral service, and cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made in Wendy’s memory to the United Way. (https://give.unitedway.ca/donate/UWCCC)
Her family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Larder Lake Centre de Sante, Home & Community Care, and the many PSW's and care providers for the care she received over the years.
