In Loving Memory of

Mr. Yves Joseph Roger Girard

November 27, 1953 - July 6, 2025

With heavy hearts Yves family announces his passing surrounded by his loved ones at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 71. He is now reunited with his father Edgar Girard (2020) and mother Lucille Girard (nee Perron) (2018). He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Sharon Girard (nee Trumbull), his children Sheila (Guy) Narbonne and Amanda (Tom) Pope, grandchildren Desmond, Sadee Pope, step grandchildren Maxime Narbonne and Venessa Narbonne (Cody Beaudoin). He was the brother of Claire (Frank) Prior, Lise (late Dave) Kosloski, Liette (late Ralph) Girard, late Gaëtan Girard and late Marc (Coco), brother-in-law of late Linda (late Bill) Knight, Dale (Gary) Golding, Dianna (Tim) Prior, Catherine (Eric) Crawford, Karen Trumbull, late Vernon (Katherine) Trumbull, late Floyd Trumbull and late Donald Trumbull. He was the son-in-law of late Melville and late Donalda Trumbull. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In respecting Yves’ wishes, there will be no visitation and funeral. His ashes will be laid to rest at a later date in the Columbarium at the Cochrane Catholic Cemetery.
