Yves “BLACKIE” Lachapelle
April 9, 1946 – April 2, 2023
With great sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of Blackie at the Anson General Hospital in Iroquois Falls on Sunday April 2nd, 2023 at the age of 76. He will be deeply missed by his wife Rita Lachapelle, daughter Julie Lachapelle, stepchildren Garry Dwyer and Brian (Anette) Dwyer, grandchildren Elise, Natasha, Jeremy, Daxx, Dominik and Gabrielle, great grandchildren Troy and Austin, his siblings Aurore Dubé-Latour (Roger Villeneuve), Yvon (Léanne) Lachapelle and Albert (Lynne) Lachapelle, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Lillian “Cocotte” Lachapelle (nee Marcotte), his father Daniel Lachapelle, his mother Gilberte Lachapelle (nee Morin), his brother Ernest (Claudette) Lachapelle.
