It is with great sadness that the family of Émile announces his passing on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the Smooth Rock Falls hospital at the age of 86. Émile will be deeply missed by his wife Clara (nee Labelle) Jacques, his children Joanne (Alan) Brulé-Alderton of Gravenhurst, Robert Jacques of Smooth Rock Falls and Mona (Charles) Jacques VanMarrum of Brockville.

Proud grandfather of Daniel (Mélissa), Richard (Célia), Joey (Kara), Chelsey (Ryan), Christopher, Courtney and his great-grandchildren Mitchell, Logan, Alexander, Briar Rose, Ryder and Ryley.

Émile was the brother of the late Marguerite (late Gérald) Lacroix, late Oliva (Gérard) Béchard, late Jeanette (Robert) Arbour, late Léo (Jeannine Grenier) Jacques, late Jean-Paul (late Joyce Simpson), Maurice (Gaby Dubé) Jacques and late Raymond (Sheila Priebe) Jacques and his sister-in-law Louise Priebe late Claudette (late Charles) Gagnon.  

He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Émile was predeceased by his parents Gérard and Elzire (nee Brunet) Jacques.

Visitations will be held on Friday July 25, 2025 starting at 9:30 am to 11am at the St-Gertrude church hall, 48 Hollywood Drive in Smooth Rock Falls, ON.

A funeral mass service will be held at the Ste-Gertrude church of Smooth Rock Falls on Friday July 25, 2025 at 11 am.

Grand-papa très fier de Daniel (Mélissa), Richard (Célia), Joey (Kara), Chelsey (Ryan), Christopher, Courtney et ses arrière-petits-enfants Mitchell, Logan, Alexander, Briar Rose, Ryder and Ryley.

Il était le frère de feu Marguerite (feu Gérald) Lacroix, feu Oliva (Gérard) Béchard,feu Jeanette (Robert) Arbour, feu Léo (Jeannine Grenier) Jacques, feu Jean-Paul (feu Joyce Simpson), Maurice (Gaby Dubé) Jacques, feu Raymond (Sheila Priebe) Jacques et sa belle-soeur Louise Priebe (feu Claudette (feu Charles) Gagnon. Il sera manqué par plusieurs nièces, neveux, autres parentés et amis.

Émile est allé rejoindre ses parents Gérard and Elzire (née Brunet) Jacques.

Les visites auront lieu le vendredi 25 juillet 2025 à partir de 9h30 jusqu’à 11h à la salle de l’église Ste-Gertrude, 48 Hollywood Drive, Smooth Rock Falls, ON.

Les funérailles auront lieu à l’église Ste-Gertrude le vendredi 25 juillet 2025 à 11h.
